How to get vendor ID?

I'm developing a web application that will use ACC API to send involce.

I've got a digital certificate and got my api key (by registering my app).
But to use most of the APIs, it requries a "vendorId" field. I know this is used to indentify the software vendor, but how do I get one from ACC?

Thanks

The vendor ID, provider ID and user permissions will need to be set up by us, so you will need to send the follwoing details to our DigiOps inbox (digitaloperations@acc.co.nz) so that we can set you up in our compliance environment.

The name and email address on your Digital Certificate.

The practice or organisation you are working closely with.

Kind regards,

Leon

OK, will do...Thank you

Is there a relationship between a vendor ID and a customer key (api key I got after registering my app)?

I'm developing a new app, which will replace our existing application completely. My question is, can I use the existing vendor ID I got previously along with my new api key (registered as a new app in ACC) when making a request?

I tried it and it seems to give me an error saying I'm not authorized to access the service.

Thanks

There is no any specific relationship between Vendor ID and you API Key, and API Key will always works either for your existing app or new app.

Where vendor ID is tied up with your Digital Certificate, so it will need to be set up for correct permission and link to your DC to works in compliance environment, and you should be able use the existing vendor ID you've got previously along with your new api key when making a request.

If you are getting not authorised access the service, you can provide us your Digital Certificate details and vendor ID to DigiOps email above, so that we can set the correct permissions for your DC and link it to your vendor ID in our system.

Kind regards

Leon
